North Carolina Wesleyan College is pleased to announce campus wide implementation of the FLASHbrief Internet-based FLASHbrief Mass Alert Notification System.
FLASHbrief provides College emergency officials the ability to provide Advisory or Emergency Visual and Audible Alerts to computer desktops and laptops within 20 seconds as well as simultaneous notification via email accounts and cellular phones via SMS text.
There is no charge to students, parents or faculty for connecting to the system. However in the event of an actual emergency, there may be a charge for receiving a text message, based on your individual cellular carrier text message package.
Instructions:
- Write down the NCWC 10 digit connect code: 1224161346
- Click on the GET CONNECTED link below and enter the above 10 digit connect code and select DOWNLOAD
- You will be first prompted to enter your EMAIL, then CELLULAR number and then finally, to connect your Windows or MAC computer to the system. Just follow the on-screen instructions and in just minutes, you will be connected in the case of a campus wide emergency.
